CBC/Radio-Canada Selects Coveo Enterprise SearchJuly 6, 2005
by -- CBCCoveo Solutions Inc., a pioneer of integrated and secure search solutions for the desktop, Intranet and Web, today announced that CBC/Radio-Canada Canada's national public
broadcaster, has chosen Coveo Enterprise Search (CES) to power the search capabilities of its company portal.
In addition to cost-effectiveness, exceptional relevance and reliability, ease of integration was a major concern for CBC/Radio-Canada. CES meets the stringent indexing and language support requirements of the project by offering functionality out-of-the-box that will allow CBC/Radio-Canada to leverage their existing and future XML content and provide robust support for bilingual searches.
" The CES solution is easily adapted to our environment and architecture and will allow us to deploy the new search engine very rapidly," said Rhoda Gryfe, Intranet Manager for CBC/Radio-Canada. "As Canada's national public broadcaster it was important for us to build our intranet in both
French and in English. CES was able to offer a flexible, cost-effective solution that can handle both languages in addition to offering exceptional search relevance."
