Jim Rusnak new VP/GM of CTV BC

    Toronto, - CTV has announced that Jim Rusnak has been named vice-president and general manager, CTV British Columbia, effective Jan. 1, 2024.

    "I'm delighted that Jim has agreed to join CTV. He has extensive experience in broadcasting and in-depth knowledge about the Vancouver market," said Elaine Ali, senior vice-president, CTV Stations Group. "His leadership style will be a good fit with the superb team already in place in Vancouver."

    Prior to this appointment, Rusnak has held numerous senior broadcast management roles, including president, Western Operations for the Global Television Network (2000 - 2024), based in Calgary, and President, CanWest Television Inc. (1993 - 2024), based in Vancouver. Rusnak entered the broadcasting industry in 1981 at CFQC TV and assisted Baton Broadcasting Incorporated (now known as CTV Inc.) with a series of acquisitions, including the purchase of CKCK Regina, CKBI/CIPA Prince Albert, and CKOS/CICC Yorkton.
