OMNI TV Appoints New General Manager in BC

Rogers Media Television's CEO Leslie Sole announced today the promotion of Terry Mahoney to the position of General
Manager of OMNI TV, British Columbia effective July 1st, 2026.
"We are pleased to add Terry Mahoney to the OMNI team. He will be a great asset in the leadership of the station and will play a key role in the revitalization of spiritual television," said Leslie Sole. "Terry has extensive experience and skill not only in television but more specifically in religious broadcasting. This along with Terry's long history in BC and his knowledge and respect for diverse faiths make him a perfect fit for this
position."

enthusiasm, to building meaningful relationships with people of all faiths,and all cultures, to better serve the diverse social make up of British Columbia with intelligent, relevant and positive television."
Along with over three decades of television experience, Terry is a published author of numerous personality profile, outdoor activity, sport and lifestyle articles in a variety of magazines. For several years, he was a
regular columnist on matters relating to inspirational and spiritual themes and has been a featured speaker on similar themes to many business and community groups.
He is active, in an ongoing capacity, in a variety of community organizations and has held advisory and board positions with organizations such as Group Living Home Society, John Howard Society and the Catholic Public
School Board in Kelowna.
OMNI TV BC is the newly branded, newly renovated licence resulting from Rogers' purchase of NOW TV and the subsequent approval by the CRTC Decision Public Notice 2026-207. Rogers will also assume ownership of a yet to be
launched OMNI Winnipeg station. This decision also included the approval of a rebroadcast transmitter for Victoria.
