OTTAWA - Radio Canada International, which has been making a number of expansion announcements in recent weeks, has made two more.

RCI said last week it will start airing programs in French and English on the Voice of Lebanon, the Middle Eastern country's first private FM station.

The station currently broadcasts the daily Arabic-language program, which is produced by RCI.

The two radio services will also regularly swap reports, co-produce programs, and organize reporter exchanges.

As well, RCI has expanded its agreement with Radio Netherlands to expand their programming offerings in Spanish and Portuguese in Latin America. This comes after RCI moves to create Portuguese programming in Brazil and to offer programming in French-speaking Africa.
