VANCOUVER - Responding to a request made by the City of Vancouver, 96.9 JACK FM has taken down its "Vote JACK" signs, which had been erected throughout the Lower Mainland.

The signs were put up last week by the Rogers Radio station as a contrast to all the political party signs.

"JACK listeners have been calling in expressing their support of the signs. But JACK FM is complying with the city's request to take down all the signs," says a station press release.

However, "listeners are welcome to take the signs home. They're also invited to come to JACK FM at 2440 Ash Street in Vancouver during business hours (8:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday) to pick up their own sign," adds the release.
