VANCOUVER - The Corus Radio Network and healthcare agency Oroalliance this week announced a co-operative venture for the production and marketing of Corus Entertainment's weekly health radio program House Calls with Dr. Art Hister.

The Corus Radio Network produces the program, while Oroalliance is the exclusive sponsorship and marketing agent.

House Calls with Dr. Art Hister is produced and broadcast from the CKNW AM 980 Vancouver studios. It is the highest-rated and longest-running health program in Canadian media. Each Saturday, the program draws approximately 190,000 listeners in eight key radio markets, including: C-FAX 1070 Victoria; CHQR 770 Calgary; 630 CHED Edmonton, 650 AM CKOM Saskatoon, CJME News Talk 1300 Regina, CJOB 680 Winnipeg, FM 96 CFPL London and CKNW AM 980 Vancouver.

Archived segments will soon be available at www.crn.com

House Calls' audience is comprised of a high-income majority with an approximate even split of male and female listeners. Seventy percent of the audience consists of listeners over the age of 35 with a majority of those listeners being over the age of 50. Eighty percent own a computer, use the web, stay well informed and stay tuned for longer periods of time than the market average, says the Corus release.
