B101's big 10 birthday bash tomorrow

BARRIE - Corus Entertainment's B101 FM will celebrate its 10th birthday, by going back to where it all began tomorrow.

B101 first signed on the air live from the Georgian Mall, and in honor of the station's 10th birthday it'll be going back to celebrate this milestone with a full day live broadcast. "It all starts in the morning with Jamie & Tara as they make the draw for 'B101's Big Ten Birthday Blowout' Grand Prize Draw�someone's going to win a $10,000 Shopping Spree," said B101 program director Darren Stevens.

Live performances by special guest include: Canadian Idol Kalan Porter, Canuck pop band Glass Tiger, and Sony recording artist Liam Titcomb.

All day long B101 will look back at 10 years of playing "Barrie's Best Music." There will also be highlights of exclusive interviews and in-studio performances from The Calling; Bowling For Soup; Mis-teeq; Hanson; The Rasmus; Lillix; Chantal Kreviazuk; Tal Bachman, Tom Cochrane, Kenny Loggins; Richard Marx and many others.
