New appointments to CHUM's board

TORONTO - CHUM Limited announced today the election of Gordon Craig and Catherine Tait to its Board of Directors at the Company's Annual General Meeting.

"Gordon Craig and Catherine Tait are well respected for their business experience, particularly in the broadcast industry," said Jim Waters, Chairman, CHUM Limited. "They bring extensive experience from their participation on numerous corporate boards and we are delighted to have them join the CHUM Limited Board of Directors."

Gordon Craig retired as chairman and CEO of Netstar Communications Inc. in 2000. He is currently a Director on the Board of Brascan Financial and was a past Director of Cygnal Technologies, Afton Food Group, Canada's Sports Hall of Fame and the Hockey Hall of Fame. He was also a member of the Governors Council for North York General Hospital.

Catherine Tait is the president and co-founder of Duopoly, Inc., an independent production company based in New York. Previously, Ms. Tait was President and COO of Salter Street Films. She is currently a Director on the Boards of Aliant Inc. and Triptych Media, and has served as a Director and Chair of the Independent Feature Project in New York.
