Rogers wants to offer RAI International to customers
TORONTO - Rogers has announced that it has filed an application to add RAI International to the CRTC's digital list of eligible satellite services. RAI International is Italy's state broadcaster, already available in more than 238 countries around the world.
"We're delighted that Rogers has agreed again to sponsor the RAI International service", said Massimo Magliaro, president and CEO, RAI International. "We're hopeful that the CRTC will move quickly so that we can offer our service across Canada as soon as possible. RAI International's 24-hour service will fulfill the requests of the Italo-Canadian community and support Canada's multicultural policies."
"Rogers is eager to offer RAI International to our large base of Italian Canadian customers", said Phil Lind, vice-chairman, Rogers Communications Inc.
