Toronto - CTV Inc. announced today that it has finalized the transaction to acquire CKY-TV from Videon CableSystems Inc. (formerly known as Moffat Communications Limited) for approximately $37-million. Fred Wagman was the trustee handling the transaction.
CKY, a long-time CTV affiliate, broadcasts throughout the province of Manitoba, and consists of CKY-TV Winnipeg, CKYB-TV Brandon, CKYD-TV Dauphin/Baldy Mountain, CKYA-TV Fisher Branch, CKYF-TV Flin Flon, CKYB-TV1 McCreary, CKYS-TV Snow Lake, CKYP-TV The Pas and CKYT-TV Thompson.
