As the weather starts to cool down, things are heating up with the latest PPM radio ratings released today. This release from BBM completes the fourteen (as opposed to the normal thirteen) week period covering May 26th to August 31st, 2024. Let’s take a look at some of the numbers for the five PPM markets.
Toronto: Bragging rights at the top of the ratings heap go to CHFI-FM with a 12.9% share of hours tuned for A12+ (down from 13.2% last time out). CHFI-FM takes the #1 spot with the ladies 25-54 delivering a 20.9% share (up from 20.5%) followed by CHUM-FM delivering a 16.3% share (down from 17.0%). Q107 holds the #1 spot for males 25-54, posting an 11.1% share (up from 9.3% in the last 13 week book). Virgin leads the way for M18-34 with a 12.0% share. For F18-34, CHFI-FM tops the list posting a 23.6% share.
Vancouver: QMFM grabs the #1 spot for A12+ with a 10.7% share of hours tuned (up from 9.5% last time out). Taking the top spot for F25-54 was QMFM, posting a 12.9% share (up from 10.7% last time out). Rock 101 showed some nice gains and now holds the lead for M25-54 listeners, delivering an 11.7% share (up from 7.8%). Rock 101 is out in front for M18-34 with a 13.0% share of hrs. tuned followed closely by the FOX at 12.0%. When it comes to Females 18-34, The Beat takes top spot with an 18.9% (down from 23.2%).
Edmonton: 102.3 NOW Radio rules the roost for A12+ posting a 12.7% share of hours tuned (up from 11.1%). NOW! Radio takes top spot for F25-54, delivering a 16.9% share (up from 14.5%). NOW also tops the list for M25-54 with an 18.2% share (up from 13.3%). For M18-34, NOW! posted a 26.6% (up from 20.9%).
Calgary: Country 105 leads the way for A12+ with a 10.9% share (up from 10.3%). Country 105 remains popular with the ladies, taking #1 spot for F25-54 delivering a 14.1% share (down from 15.1%). For M25-54, XL103 is #1 with a 10.0% (down from 10.8%). Country 105 takes top spot for M18-34 with a 14.0% share. Country 105 is #1 for F18-34 posting a 23.1% share (up from 20.4%).
Montreal (Total): CHMP 98.5FM is #1 for A12+ with a 16.0% share (down from 17.8%) tied with Rythme FM at 16.0% (up from 15.1%). CFGL-FM 105.7 Rythme FM is tops with the ladies, taking #1 spot for F25-54 delivering a 20.0% share (down from 20.9%). For M25-54, CHMP 98.5FM leads the way with a 15.1% share (down from an 18.2%) followed by CHOM-FM with 12.4%. Virgin Radio96 is #1 for M18-34 with a 14.6% share.
