Bell Media Appoints Chief Marketing Officer/Head of Business Development

  • Kevin Crull, President, Bell Media, today appointed Steven Bickley to the new position of Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Business Development for Bell Media, effective immediately. At the conclusion of his transition into his new role over the coming weeks, Mr. Bickley will join the Bell Media Leadership team.

    “Over the past five months, it has become apparent that Bell Media is ripe for growth, with the potential for many new products and services,” said Crull. “In his new position, Steve has been tasked with the product management of our current and future assets, while also enhancing the execution of many of our key strategic priorities.”

    As Chief Marketing Officer, Bickley will unify marketing strategies across all of the company’s assets, bringing together Bell Media’s industry-leading marketing initiatives under singular direction. In addition to initiating marketing discipline and synergy across Bell Media, Bickley brings renewed marketing focus to all of the company’s constituents, including viewers, distribution partners and advertising clients.

    As Head of Business Development, Bickley is responsible for leveraging all of Bell Media’s internal assets, while also looking outside of the company for new business opportunities. Several business development initiatives on Bickley’s agenda will build upon the momentum of Bell Media’s digital assets, which continue to deliver outstanding revenue growth and are leading the industry.

    With more than two decades of experience in telecommunications and media, Bickley has spent the past six years at Bell, where he was most recently Senior Vice-President, Products and Pricing, Bell Residential Services. In this position, Bickley was responsible for service delivery solutions, product management and programming across BRS, including Wireline, Internet and TV. Previously, Bickley was Senior Vice-President, Marketing, BRS, where he demonstrated a strong track record of growing BRS’ share of the market, including increasing the number of homes with multiple Bell services, and successfully launching Bell Fibe TV.
