  • Corus Entertainment Inc. commenced its second annual Corus Feeds Kids Spring Campaign with two new partners on board, Maple Lodge Farms and The Wiggles. These partnerships will raise additional awareness for Corus Feeds Kids and help stock the shelves of local food banks. The Spring Campaign runs from Monday, June 10 to Friday, June 21, 2024.

Maple Lodge Farms, Ontario’s largest supplier of locally grown chicken, has chosen Corus Feeds Kids as a principal beneficiary of proceeds raised through the Maple Lodge Farms annual charity golf tournament which will be held on June 13, 2024. Additionally, Maple Lodge Farms has pledged a generous donation of products to local food banks. The Maple Lodge Farms’ Special Events Team will be cooking up a variety of their products at select Corus fundraising events throughout the month, as a further show of support.

Renowned children’s entertainers, The Wiggles, have selected Corus Feeds Kids as their cause partner during their fall 2024 Taking Off Canadian tour. This collaboration kicked off with an exclusive fundraising event in May at Corus’ Toronto facility, Corus Quay, as well as a public service announcement (PSA) featuring their music video, Power Through the Day. The Wiggles have also committed a portion of each ticket sold on the Canadian-leg of their fall tour to local area food banks on behalf of Corus Feeds Kids.

“Corus Feeds Kids is proud to be working with Maple Lodge Farms and The Wiggles to help nourish children’s bodies and minds and improve the lives of young Canadians,” said John Cassaday, President and Chief Executive Officer, Corus Entertainment. “Together, we are confident that the campaign will garner support and awareness for Canada’s local food banks.”

The two-week campaign includes Corus Feeds Kids Day on Friday, June 14, 2024, a day dedicated to raising funds for local food banks. On Corus Feeds Kids Day, Corus Radio stations across the country will broadcast live from their local food banks and local campaign partner locations to drive awareness and funds towards alleviating childhood hunger in Canada.
