  •   Starting Saturday, March 19, CP24 BREAKFAST  will air seven days per week.  Beginning at 7 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays, the new weekend editions give Torontonians the news, weather and traffic info they need to kick-start their weekends.

Building on the success of the Monday – Friday with Melissa Grelo and Steve Anthony, the weekend edition of CP24 BREAKFAST will be freshly served by a crew of seasoned and familiar CP24 anchors and reporters. Hosts Pooja Handa and Gurdeep Ahluwalia along with remote anchor George Lagogianes and Weather Specialist Nneka Elliott are set to deliver the latest breaking news, weather and traffic information, like no other newscast in the city.

“Saturday and Sunday are two of the most important days in the week for many of us,” said Bob McLaughlin, Senior Vice-President, CTV Production and General Manager, CP24. “Toronto doesn’t take the weekends off and neither do we. Extending our services into the weekend for our viewers means they have the breaking weather, traffic and news they need to optimize the weekends.”
