CTS To Air 34th. Annual Covenant Awards

Canadians are being given a unique opportunity to watch the 34th Annual Covenant Awards on television for the first time ever as the broadcaster Crossroads Television System will air the awards on Saturday, November 10th.

The Covenant Awards celebrate the best in Canadian Christian music and honour artists in categories such as: Album of the Year, Song of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Worship Album of the Year, and many others. A Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to the Toronto Mass Choir, and viewers will enjoy a lively performance by the gospel choir with popular Christian band Newworldson.

The awards show will also feature performances from bands like Starfield, Downhere, High Valley, Ben Cantelon, Greg Sczebel, and many other Christian artists from across Canada.

The broadcast of the Covenant Awards will be condensed in to a two- hour special on CTS airing this Saturday night.

This will be the first time in its 34 year history the Covenant Awards will air on television, enhancing the profile of the event and Christian artists in Canada.

CTS television personalities Leland Klassen and Melinda Estabrooks will host the event.
