Quebecor Appoints Senior VP QMI Content

Pierre Karl Péladeau, President and CEO of Quebecor Media, is pleased to announce the appointment of France Lauzière as Senior Vice-President, QMI Content, a new business division that brings together the creative forces of the subsidiaries of Quebecor Media, including Videotron and TVA. QMI Content is mandated to create, develop, acquire, distribute and export audiovisual content.

QMI Content, as part of Quebecor Media, will maintain its tradition of innovation and renew its promise to provide better content to Quebecers. With this initiative, consumers will enjoy new experiences on the platforms of their choice at the time of their choice. This is also a new phase in Quebecor Media’s vision of promoting the work of Quebec creators on a wider scale, especially internationally.

A team of six high-level managers, supported by fifty people during its start-up phase, will support France Lauzière with QMI Content operations. They are:

•Denis Dubois, Vice-President, Brands and Multiplatform Strategies;

•Yann Paquet, Vice-President, Acquisitions;

•Ginette Viens, Vice-President, Creation and Development;

•Suzane Landry, Senior Director, Programming;

•Martin Picard, Senior Director, Administration;

•A Vice-PresidentInternational Development will be named soon.

In addition to her new responsibilities, France Lauzière will maintain her position as Vice-President, Programming, TVA Group.
