Rogers’ 96.9 JACKfm, Vancouvers Debuts New Morning Show

Today, Rogers Radio station 96.9 JACKfm launched its new morning show, Jack’s Morning Glory with Kiah and Tara Jean, hosted by the award-winning morning show duo Kiah Tucker and Tara Jean Stevens.

“Kiah and Tara Jean make up the perfect on-air team for the JACKfm morning show with their wicked sense of humour and fun approach,” said Murray Brookshaw, Program Director, JACK fm. “Listeners will wake up every weekday morning to an irreverent, energetic, and fresh show showcasing Kiah and Tara Jean’s entertaining and quirky view of the world.”

No stranger to Vancouver radio listeners, Tucker and Stevens hosted the afternoon drive show on Virgin 95.3 from 2009 to this past spring, where they were awarded in 2009 and 2011 “Broadcast Performer of the Year” by the British Columbia Association of Broadcasters.

Hailing from Australia where he worked for a number of years at various radio stations, Tucker moved to Vancouver in 2007 where he has entertained Vancouver radio listeners on Virgin 95.3, and 100.5 The Peak, prior to joining JACKfm.

Born and raised on the West Coast of B.C., Stevens is an award-winning playwright and actress, in addition to formerly hosting the Kiah Tucker and Tara Jean Stevens show on Virgin. When she is not entertaining listeners on Vancouver’s radio airwaves, she is the proud mom of two children, Violet and Ozzy.
