RTR Media Inc. is celebrating the new year with a nod from the Canadian Screen Awards for the hit series Income Property on HGTV Canada. Income Property with host Scott McGillivary is vying for an award in the Best Lifestyle Series category.
Income Property marks the launch of its seventh season on HGTV US on January 29th at 9pm ET and HGTV Canada on January 31st at 9pm ET/PT. This season Income Property is expanding to a full hour as Scott McGillivray takes each potential homeowner through an exciting house hunt for income properties before overhauling their space into a dream rental suite. RTR Media Inc. is delighted to report that the hit series has been renewed for an eighth season and will begin production starting in February.

RTR Media Inc. is growing its production slate and recently premiered the Citizen Skull Inc. co-production, Mother of The Bride (13 x 30 mins) on Slice on January 4th. Mother of the Bride takes us inside the drama that ignites when mom tries to find a stunning gown for one of the most important days of her life.
Things continue to heat up with production at RTR Media Inc. with the upcoming series of BBQ Crawl (10 x 30 mins), a mouth watering road trip that follows a world champion BBQ competitor, Danielle Dimovski (a.k.a. DIVA-Q) as she eats and competes her way through the American south. BBQ Crawl will air on Travel + Escape this May.
RTR Media Inc. is also pleased to announce that its newest series Lost and Sold has been green lit and will premiere on SliceTM this fall. Lost and Sold is a treasure hunt auction series about the thrill and surprise of finding value in lost and discarded items. The series reveals an underground subculture of a regular group of buyers who wheel and deal in pursuit of lost items to flip for surprising and jaw dropping profit.
The production company continues to build its thriving production roster throughout 2013.
