It’s that time again – The Shaw Rocket Fund is pleased to announce a Call for Entries for the much celebrated Shaw Rocket Prize – a $50,000 award for the best TV program for kids 12 and under including preschool. The television program and its website, games, etc. will all be judged.
The Shaw Rocket Prize showcases the very best programming Canada has to offer and involves two juries: an international jury of top buyers from around the world that will select the top five programs, and kids from across Canada who will vote for the winner.

Entry deadline is August 22, 2024
Finalists will be announced on October 6, 2024 in Cannes
The winner will be awarded on November 27, 2024 in Ottawa

The Shaw Rocket Prize is a $50,000 winner take-all award for the best independent Canadian kids’ program as selected by an international jury and kids from across Canada. Previous winners are Degrassi: The Next Generation, Being Ian, Make Some Noise, Life with Derek, Sticks and Stones, Dino Dan and Wingin’ It.
