Shopping Channel Goes Upmarket with Pink Tartan Womenswear Line

  • The Shopping Channel today announced the latest addition of Canadian womenswear line, Pink Tartan, to its roster of luxury brands. On Sunday, March 30  Kimberley Newport-Mimran, President and Head Designer, will debut her modernized classic designs and easy-wear, easy-wash collection on TSC and share her stories of well-fitted, elegant pieces with women from across the country. Coming off her sought-after, sold-out runway show at Toronto’s World Mastercard Fashion Week on March 19, Newport-Mimran will bring a curated selection from her lifestyle concept shop in Toronto’s Yorkville Avenue, into the homes of Canadian shoppers. From producing sleek uniforms for Porter Airlines and Holt Renfrew, to covering the front pages of FLARE and Vogue.

    Worn by celebrities such as Charlize Theron, Gwyneth Paltrow, and songstress Lana Del Rey, Pink Tartan’s designs are updates to modern classics and offer simple yet strong designs complemented by luxurious fabrics. Newport-Mimran describes sexy, as “what you don’t see,” and her product offerings available at The Shopping Channel as of March 30, embody that attitude.

    Kimberley Newport-Mimran co-founded Pink Tartan in 2024, after working in buying, merchandising and product development for the Hudson Bay Company, Club Monaco and Caban. She is married to Joe Mimran, Canadian fashion designer and founder of Joe Fresh.
