TEAM 1040, Vancouver, Welcomes Bro Jake Morning Show

  • TEAM 1040 Vancouver today announced popular Vancouver radio personality Jake ‘Bro Jake’ Edwards as host of the station’s all-new weekday morning show, The Bro Jake Show. Premiering Monday, Sept 9. and airing weekday mornings from 6 to 10 a.m. PT, the Bro Jake Show will be co-hosted by long-time Vancouver voice Dave Pratt.

    “I’ve been waiting all my life to do a sports talk show. To join the best sports station, in the city I love, is just awesome,” said Jake Edwards.   “I can’t wait to get started next week and bring the Bro Jake brand of funny and mix it with sports talk radio.”

    “As one of the most recognizable voices on Vancouver airwaves, we couldn’t be happier to have Bro Jake join TEAM 1040,” said Mike Whittingham, Program Director, TEAM 1040. “The Bro Jake Show will bring this city their morning sports fix along with a lot of laughs. Anybody who has met The Champ knows they can expect to have some fun with Bro Jake.”

    TEAM 1040 will also debut a new evening show with host Scott Rintoul helming The Scott Rintoul Show in the 9 p.m. to 12 midnight PT slot. Beginning this month, the station’s two evening shows – Bob “The Mojo Marjanovich (6 to 9 p.m. PT) and The Scott Rintoul Show (9 to 12 midnight PT) – will also be available around the province on the following stations:

    •• AM 1150 – Kelowna

    •• Radio NL 610 AM – Kamloops

    TEAM 1040’s new weekday schedule is as follows:

    •• THE BRO JAKE SHOW – Airs weekdays at 6 a.m. PT and is hosted by Jake Edwards and Dave Pratt

    •• SEKERES AND PRICE – Airs weekdays at 10 a.m. PT and is hosted by Matt Sekeres and Blake Price

    •• B-MAC AND TAYLOR – Airs weekdays at 2 p.m. PT and is hosted by Barry Macdonald and Don Taylor

    •• BOB “THE MOJ” MARJANOVICH – Airs weekdays at 6 p.m. PT and is hosted by Bob “the Moj” Marjanovich

    •• THE SCOTT RINTOUL SHOW – Airs weekdays at 9 p.m. PT and is hosted by Scott Rintoul
