Global TV's Steve Wyatt named editor-in-chief

Toronto, - Global Television has named Steve Wyatt as its new editor-in-chief.

The network also announced that Peter Kent is its new deputy editor.

Wyatt was most recently Global's general manager of operations in British Columbia.

He was previously the news director for BCTV.

Kent will continue co-anchoring the weekday program ``MoneyWise'' with Deirdre McMurdy.

His new responsibilities include new program development, news documentaries and current affairs.
