Craig's toronto|one going downtown

Toronto, - Toronto's newest television station shifts into high gear with the announcement today of the location for the state of the art, digital facility. toronto|one will be located in the heart of downtown Toronto's emerging east media district near King and Sherbourne.

"The location is key to bringing forward our vision of toronto|one," comments Barbara Williams, toronto|one vice-president and general manager.

"It's new. It's evolving. It's exploding with business and residential development. It's a location at the core of where our stories will originate. This site immediately establishes our position as the station committed to
telling the new Toronto story."

toronto|one will launch from 25 Ontario Street, an art deco style structure built in 1942. Extensive interior renovations will transform this historically designated building into a high definition ready, all digital broadcast facility. When complete, the site will house one of the most progressive broadcast facilities in the country.
