Y108 loses AM show

HAMILTON - With the Jay, of Jay and Big D departing for greener pastures on his own, management of Corus Entertainment-owned Y108 decided yesterday that it no longer needed Big D either.

Jason Farr announced on the show Monday he was leaving (for an as yet undisclosed station), then later in the day Darrin Laidman was fired, according to a story in the Hamilton Spectator newspaper.

No word on who will replace the pair at the Rock/AC station. Afternoon host Mike Tyler is working the morning shift for now.
