  • MOJO Vancouver launches loaded lineup

    8/30/2004

VANCOUVER - MOJO Sports Radio AM 730 released its complete on-air line-up last week with the addition of three live, local shows.

Starting Monday, August 30th at 10 a.m., Arthur Griffiths takes the air anchoring "Timeout with Arthur Griffiths" - an insider's take on the ongoing NHL owner/player negotiations.

Wednesday September 1st, TSN's Blake Price joins the Corus Entertainment-owned station's starting line-up with "The Blake Price Show" weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Mondays, starting September 13th, brother station ROCK 101's morning man Bro' Jake Edwards and one of Vancouver's most outspoken sportscasters, Neil Macrae team up for "The Nooner" - 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. - a raucous weekly round table on the sport news of the day. "Sure - Macrae can blow off steam for five minutes at a time, but it takes a real blowhard to do it for two hours - that's why we're the ideal team," said Edwards in the press release.

And, John McKeachie continues to quarterback McKeachie in the Mornings weekdays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., while Bob "The Moj" Marjanovich adds an extra hour to The Sports Zone - now heard daily from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

"With these key player acquisitions, MOJO Sports Radio now boasts live local sports coverage totaling 16 hours every day plus Vancouver Giants Hockey, and the syndicated sports programming from ESPN overnight and on weekends," concludes the release.
