New developments are coming to the worlds of TV, radio and the Internet, and the content and context of new media in Canada will radically change as a result.

The country’s regulator, the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission  takes its first concentrated look at new media in almost ten years.

Public hearings on the Future of New Media in Canada’s Broadcasting Landscape begin next week, and they will look at the role new media plays within the overall Canadian broadcasting.

Beginning Tuesday, February 17, CPAC provides LIVE coverage of the CRTC hearings on new media, using both traditional and new media platforms.
