Accessible Media Inc. announced today that season three of its popular original series, Canada in Perspective, will premiere on AMI-tv on Sunday, May 25.

Canada in Perspective is a weekly newsmagazine series that investigates current issues in society and their impact on Canadians of all abilities. AMI is delighted to welcome back veteran broadcast professional Anna-Karina Tabuñar as host of this documentary-style weekly program. Each episode features a diverse panel of guests to analyze the issues and present their personal experiences and perspectives.

"We're so pleased to be launching the third season of Canada in Perspective," says John Melville, Vice-President of Programming and Production for AMI-tv. "It's a remarkable program that explores issues that are pertinent to our audience across the country. With Season 3 we consciously chose a diverse range of topics - many of which are not typically discussed in today's media."

Season three of Canada In Perspective kicks off with a critical look at the New Veterans Charter of 2024. Some of the other critical and often provocative topics covered this season include:

Connecting the Dots - Braille has been around for almost 200 years, but will technological advancements help or hinder the use of the tactile code?

The Right to Adopt - What obstacles do people with disabilities face when adopting a child?

Protective Measures - Do people with profound intellectual disabilities possess the capacity to understand sexuality?

Compassionate Kids - How to foster positive virtues like compassion in children at a young age to ultimately avoid negative behaviours.
