Bell Media's Turcke Named WCT's Woman of the Year

    BCE today congratulated Mary Ann Turcke, Bell Media's Group President, Media Sales, Local TV & Radio on being named Woman of the Year by Women in Communications and Technology. A national organization that fosters leadership and advances women in careers in communications, digital media and technology, WCT also recognized Bell Media's Nikki Moffat and Pat DiVittorio and Bell Canada's Borika Vucinic with Leadership Excellence Awards.

"The Bell team is proud to congratulate Mary Ann as WCT's Woman of the Year and Nikki, Pat and Borika for their well-deserved awards in Leadership Excellence."

    With more than 25 years in the communications and technology sectors, Ms. Turcke began her career at Bell as VP of Customer Experience and Operations for Small & Medium Business in 2024 and was later promoted to Executive VP of Field Services in 2024. In 2024, she was appointed Group President of Media Sales, Local TV and Radio at Bell Media. In this role she oversees almost $2 billion in media sales across multiple platforms as well as local TV and radio in English Canada. Ms. Turcke also serves on the boards of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment  and Sheena's Place.

    Nikki Moffat, Senior Vice President of Finance at Bell Media, who is receiving the WCT Leader award, is responsible for the financial operations of Bell Media and all of its subsidiaries, including 30 local television stations, 35 specialty channels, 4 pay TV services and 106 radio stations. A member of WCT's Board of Directors for the past three years, she has supported the advancement of women across the industry, acting as a role model and diversity champion in both the communications and finance sectors.

    Pat DiVittorio, Vice President of Program Planning at Bell Media, is responsible for the daily operation of the schedule and program planning strategies for CTV and CTV Two. Honoured with WCT's Mentor award, Ms. DiVittorio is a strong supporter of women in the industry, sharing her knowledge and insight with countless individuals, many of whom now hold senior roles on her team. As Vice-Chair of Women in Film and Television-Toronto, she helps women to connect, learn, and advance in the industry.

    Borika Vucinic, recognized by WCT as a Technology Innovator, is Director, TV Engineering & Operations at Bell and a strong role model for women pursuing careers in the fields of engineering and technology. She led the team designing the Nimiq 6 satellite with Space System Loral, developing complex requirements on coverage, spectrum, antenna, and transponder configuration. Once the satellite was completed, Ms. Vucinic's team conducted a range of diagnostics, including testing on acoustics and vibrations, and electrical systems.
