The Canada Calling radio network will be back on air for the 60th Anniversary winter season across the U.S. sun belt and the Bahamas beginning Monday, November 4th.
The programs of news-from-home will again air Monday through Saturday in all major Canadian tourist regions to the end of the first week of April. During that time some 3 1/2 mllion Canadians travel south to escape wintry weather back home. That's the market Canada Calling targets throughout the winter!
Our research indicates Canada Calling is the second longest running network radio show in North America behind only the Grand Ole Opry. The show was created in the early 50's by veteran CBC broadcaster Dave Price. Canada Calling has been produced and hosted for the past 37 years by Prior Smith.
