Corus Entertainment’s CMT (Canada) is buying into real estate with the new series Yukon For Sale, premiering Saturday, June 13. Produced by Proper Television in association with CMT, the 13 x 30-minute series puts the “real” in real estate as Yukoners ditch the typical luxuries found on most house-hunting wish lists for magnificent views of the Northern Lights, acres of property for hunting and fishing, and the perfect outhouse.
In each episode of Yukon For Sale, viewers meet house hunting Yukoners, both native and newbies to the north, who are in search of unique properties to satisfy their northern living needs. Whether it’s a young couple seeking an off-the-grid existence, hunters with their sights set on a backyard full of game, or urban professionals hoping to find a condo in the middle of a northern town, finding the perfect pad is always an adventure in the Yukon, where moose outnumber people by two to one. Canadian Country music singer George Canyon narrates this wild real estate ride that takes viewers out into the middle of North America’s untamed wilderness.
