The CRTC has approved an application, by GlassBOX Television for a broadcasting licence to operate a national, English-language specialty Category C service to be known as GlassBOX News.
The service would consist of mainstream national news and information programming, and the licensee would provide updated news reports every 120 minutes. The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application.
GlassBOX is controlled by Michael MacMillan through his control of Blue Ant Media Inc., the majority shareholder in GlassBOX.
