In his first one-on-one interview since he was appointed to head the Bank of England, the departing Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney grants a world-exclusive TV interview to CTV's Question Period airing this Sunday, February 17. In the wide-ranging interview, Carney sits down with host Kevin Newman, revealing his more personal side, thoughts on the 2008 economic meltdown, his view on the future of Canada's housing market, and why he's determined to return to Canada in five years.

"Mark Carney is often asked about complex and important financial matters," said Newman. "But I also wanted to ask him about himself. He has a unique blend of caution and charisma."

Viewers can now get more context on the political stories of the week with the new Question Period Podcast. The 45-minute episodes, hosted by Kevin Newman, are recorded in Ottawa every week with the newsmakers who matter. This podcast is a must-hear for political junkies who need more news about Canadian politics. New episodes will be available every Sunday online and through the Question Period RSS feed. Archive podcasts are also available on the site.

In addition to airing Sundays  on CTV, encore presentations of Question Period air Sundays  on CTV News Channel, on the CTV Mobile channel -through both mobile simul stream and on demand, as well as on demand at CTV.ca, the CTV app, through video on demand partners, and on CTV Two at various times across the country.
