TORONTO - Last week W Network announced the launch of a brand new, daily call-in show hosted by media personality Erin Davis. W Live with Erin Davis will premiere Monday, October 27.

Davis spent almost 15 years at CHFI and was let go by the Rogers Media-owned station this summer, much to the chagrin of her listeners, many of whom contacted www.broadcastermagazine.com to express their dismay.

Davis' new show "offers viewers the opportunity to call in with their questions, views and experiences. Covering a range of topics from health and sex; family and relationships; style and décor to fitness and diet, the show presents a frank and lively discussion with guest experts in their field. Special celebrity guests from the world of television, film, fashion, music and publishing will also join Erin Davis in the studio," says the press release.

Davis has done television in the past on Rogers Television and CFTO.

"We're thrilled Erin Davis is joining our formidable lineup of on-air talent at W Network. Her warm and personable style will encourage women to talk and engage in discussion on the topics that matter to them," said Wendy Montgomery, vice-president and general manager of W Network.

"I'm delighted to host this new show," added Davis. "W Live is a fusion of everything I think good television should be – inviting, intelligent, interesting and fun. The show is a comfortable place to get together with your friends, to laugh and to learn a little something new about our world and ourselves."

The show will be broadcast live, Mondays through Thursdays, 11 a.m. to noon, with the week's highlights airing Fridays at the same time.
