Family Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD welcome new series and premiere episodes to their schedules. Two new shows from Disney premiere on Family along with new episodes from hit Disney and Canadian series. On Disney Junior, younger viewers will delight in the fall premiere of a new season of the award-winning Canadian animated series Stella and Sam, as well as the debut of new short-form programming starring Minnie Mouse. On the newly launched Disney XD, fans of action will be enthralled with new episodes of Disney XD's adrenaline-fuelled Kick Buttowski - Suburban Daredevil as well as a new season of Connor Undercover.

"The fall programming across our three networks showcase not only new and popular titles from Disney but also highly regarded and award-winning series from Canadian producers," said Kevin Wright, Senior Vice President, Programming, Astral Kids. "Consistent among all the new and returning shows is a focus on strong storylines and engaging scenarios. Whether they are tuned into Family, Disney Junior or the new Disney XD, I am sure that our audiences will be captivated by what each channel has to offer."

Family Channel
On Family, the big city awaits a small-town girl in the new live-action comedy from Disney Channel, Jessie, airing a sneak peek episode on September 30 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Starring Debby Ryan (The Suite Life on Deck), Jessie follows a starry-eyed teen from rural Texas who moves to New York City to explore what exists outside her familiar life. She soon finds herself living in a multi-million dollar penthouse as nanny to a high-profile couple's four children, one of their imaginary friends and a seven foot Asian Water Monitor lizard named Mr. Kippling. New episodes of Jessie will continue to air Fridays at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT from October 14.

Also from Disney Channel, PrankStars makes its debut on Family at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT on September 30. The reality series is hosted by Mitchel Musso (Pair of Kings) as he directs pranks live from a covert mobile command centre. Stars including Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place) and China Anne McClain (A.N.T. Farm) surprise their fans when unsuspecting tweens and teens are set up by family members and come face to face with their favourite celebrities. The series will air throughout the fall.

The second season of Disney's buddy comedy series Shake It Up shimmies onto Family this fall beginning October 10. CeCe Jones and Rocky Blue, two high-spirited best friends, have mastered the latest dance styles and navigated the backstage antics of their frenemies, but balancing responsibilities at home and school all while appearing as background dancers in "Shake It Up, Chicago!" is keeping the girls on their toes. Viewers can catch new episodes of Shake It Up on Fridays at 6:00 p.m. ET/PT from October 14.

New episodes of the hit Canadian comedy Wingin' It air on Family on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. ET/PT from September 24. The series follows angel-in-training Porter Jackson (Demetrius Joyette, The Latest Buzz, Roxy Hunter) as he helps Carl Montclaire (Dylan Everett) become the most popular student at Bennett High.

Disney Junior

Premiering this fall on Disney Junior, the multi-award winning Canadian series Stella and Sam returns for a second season beginning in October. As they explore the world in all its seasons, siblings Stella and Sam encounter backyard quests and imaginative adventures. This animated series is based on the popular books by Canadian author and illustrator Marie-Louise Gay.

Younger viewers can follow the comings and goings in the new animated short-form series Minnie's Bow-Toons when it joins the Disney Junior schedule in November. Starring Minnie Mouse, the series is based on the comedic happenings at Minnie's Bow-Tique Hotel. On any given day, Minnie acts as hostess, party planner, chef, fashion consultant, riding instructor or tour guide, with Daisy Duck taking on the role of a very chatty front desk clerk.

Disney XD

Launched on June 1, Disney XD delivers the best in comedy and action series with programming that focuses on adventure, discovery, sports and achievement. Fall brings a new season of the high-octane animated series, Kick Buttowski - Suburban Daredevil. The Disney XD series follows an extraordinary kid determined to become the world's greatest daredevil. Small in stature but big in heart, Kick makes the most out of his suburban surroundings and takes on every stunt with unwavering enthusiasm. Season two of the show premieres on September 5 at 5:30 p.m. ET during a full-day marathon on Disney XD beginning at 11:00 a.m. ET. New episodes of Kick Buttowski - Suburban Daredevil will air on Sundays at 8:30 p.m. ET from September 11.

The second season of the Canadian original production Connor Undercover premieres on Disney XD on September 25 at 3:30 p.m. ET. Fifteen-year-old Connor Heath's world is rocked when a beautiful president's daughter is sent to live with his family. The two teens must scheme to figure out the mystery that's taken over their lives - if they can only figure out how to get along first! New episodes air Sundays at 3:30 p.m. ET.
