Groupe Média TFO is proud to announce the nomination of Carole Beaulieu as Chair of its Board of Directors. Carole Beaulieu will replace Gisèle Chrétien.

"An institution such as TFO plays an important role in consolidating the cultural identity of Francophones in Ontario and Canada. I am proud to take on this new challenge to help the continuing development of Groupe Média TFO in Ontario and beyond. We are already involved in a process of creating, producing, and broadcasting value-added French-language content and are intent on carrying our efforts forward by multiplying our presence on every platform to provide Francophones with high-quality, cutting-edge French-language content," said Carole Beaulieu.

Originally from Sudbury, Carole Beaulieu is an accomplished management, marketing, public affairs, and governance executive.

She is currently the Associate Vice President of University Relations at OCAD University where she directs the government relations, marketing, communications, institutional planning and governance functions for the university. Formerly she has worked with Manulife Financial's Canadian Division to refocus their branding, communications and philanthropy programs and she was the Chief of Staff to the Minister of Culture, Francophone Affairs and Community and Social Services in Ontario. Prior to this, she led the Marketing and Development department of Canada's National Ballet School and was a key strategist and fundraiser in the successful 90M campaign to build their award winning facilities in Toronto. Carole is a graduate of Laurentian University and holds a graduate management diploma from les Hautes Études Commerciales in Montréal.

"Over the last three years, we have undergone a shift that has taken Groupe Média TFO to the top rung of French-language media businesses in Canada. We are very happy to continue on the path of innovation and optimization with Ms. Carole Beaulieu," indicated Glenn O'Farrell, President and CEO of Groupe Média TFO.
