Much Digital Studios announced today that it has joined forces with some of the biggest brands in Canada for three youth-targeted activations. PUMA, Bell, and Virgin Mobile Canada have teamed up with Much’s multi-channel network to work closely with its creators to develop custom content integration packages featuring extensive online, mobile, and on-air activations. These brand partnerships give Much fans a guide to the latest fitness trends featuring Much creator Melissa Merk (PUMA), a chance to win a special back-to-school upgrade (Bell), and the opportunity to live like a Virgin Mobile Member with VIP access to some of Canada’s biggest music festivals (Virgin Mobile). Much continues to lead the way in brand partnership activations by providing bespoke opportunities for advertisers who want to partner with Much Digital Studios and its roster of 22 creators who now have a combined subscriber base of 2.1 million.

“Much is known for creating impactful youth-targeted opportunities for brands in Canada, and now with Much Digital Studios, brands are able to explore multiple genres, all while continuing to engage with Much’s loyal audience,” said Dave Caporicci, Managing Director, Brand Partnerships, Bell Media. “These three activations are just the beginning of the opportunities Much Digital Studios can offer to new and existing partners.”

Highlights of these brand partnerships include:

    PUMA

Much Digital Studios’ beauty vlogger Melissa Merk and PUMA are having fun with fitness in three original videos that feature Merk working out with ETALK reporter and Much VJ Liz Trinnear, E! host Chloe Wilde, and E! and Much host Tyrone Edwards, in boxing, football, and military boot camps. The videos premiere Tuesday, Sept. 1  on Much during a special PUMA-workout inspired episode of Playlist, as well as online at Much.com/foreverfaster where viewers can also win a PUMA prize pack.

    Bell Fibe

Much Digital Studios and Bell are offering Much fans the chance to upgrade their off-campus student housing. Beginning today, viewers can tweet with what in their student housing they would like to upgrade for a chance to win one school year of free Bell Fibe Internet, and $1,000 to spend on the latest gear. As well, Much fans can visit  to see Much Digital Studios’ beauty, fashion, and lifestyle creator Tasha Leelyn create DIY hacks, and inspiration on how to upgrade any off-campus housing unit, and musician Tyler Shaw tour two very unique Ontario student housing spaces. Leelyn and Shaw will also create their own videos for their respective channels. The contest closes on Sept. 22 and is only available to consumers in Ontario.

    Virgin Mobile

Much Digital Studios creators teamed up with Virgin Mobile to give viewers the ultimate fan experience at this summer’s hottest music festivals, Virgin Mobile Presents Osheaga in Montréal, QC, and Virgin Mobile Presents Squamish Valley Music Festival in Squamish, B.C. Beauty, fashion, and lifestyle expert Mila Victoria, beauty vlogger Melissa Merk, and musician Dan Talevski sampled what members get simply because they’ve hooked up with Virgin Mobile. Their ultimate experience included VIP access, all festival long, to the exclusive Members lounges, side stage viewing, artist meet and greets, and much more. Much now features branded video content on-air, and viewers can check out the creator’s experiences, and their individual YouTube channels.
