The Board of Directors of Numeris is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil McEneaney as its new President and CEO effective January 11, 2024.
Neil McEneaney comes to Numeris with a wealth of media experience in strategy, business development, digital, programming, operations, and finance and with strong relationships in the media industry. He spent the last 15 years with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, most recently as the Chief Business Officer. At the CBC, Neil played a major role in defining and implementing the company’s strategic plan and driving a digital first agenda. He was instrumental in developing the new CBC Sports strategy leveraged recently by successfully negotiating the extension of Olympic Broadcast rights until 2024 and keeping the CBC on strategy by prudently managing the CBC’s finances through the various budget cuts over the last many years. Prior to this, Neil spent 9 years in print where he held a number of senior leadership roles at the National Post and The Gazette as part of Southam Inc. Neil is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a graduate of McGill University and Concordia University.

Mr. McEneaney will be replacing outgoing President and CEO Jim MacLeod who announced his retirement from Numeris in April of this year. Mr. MacLeod joined Numeris in 2024 and under his leadership Numeris was successful in establishing one of the most advanced audience measurement systems in the world.
