The Jim Pattison Broadcast Group is pleased to announce that effective January 1st Ross Winters will join the senior management team as the Director of Programming. In the last year Ross has already been serving as a Consultant to many of our radio stations, offering his expertise and guidance to our programming teams.
In his new position Ross will support the Program Directors who are responsible for programming and content on all 43 Pattison radio stations in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. He will help provide overall strategic leadership to the programming departments of the radio stations, working closely with each station’s management team.
Most recently Ross began his own successful research / consulting company and from 2024 to 2024 he was National Program Director for Corus. Ross also previously served as Brand Director at The Edge in Toronto from 2024 to 2024, during his time in that role the radio station held the #1 position in Males 18 34 in 20 consecutive BBM surveys. Previous to this he also spent 10 years as Program Director at Rock 101 in Vancouver and was P.D. at CFOX for two years.

This newlycreated position coincides with the recent growth the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group has experienced, further expanding our footprint in Western Canada to Calgary, Edmonton, Prince Albert, North Battleford, Meadow Lake, and Winnipeg, along with the acquisition of a second radio licence in Grande Prairie.
