The New Classical 96.3 FM, English Canada’s only commercial all-classical radio station and The New AM 740 – Zoomer Radio have partnered with Toronto's  Scott Mission to launch their 4th Annual Holiday Hope Fund Campaign.

Until December 24, 2012, promotional spots will run daily on both stations as well as their respective websites asking listeners to make a difference in someone’s life this season. Listeners can donate to The Scott Mission (cash, cheque or credit card).

Over the last three years, thanks to listeners’ generosity, the radio stations have raised approximately $75,000 for the Holiday Hope Fund. The stations’ goal is to reach the $100,000 mark this year.

“This is the 4th year we’ve participated in this campaign and we’re proud to be able to use the stations’ “voice” to raise funds for those less fortunate in the community,” says George Grant, President & CEO of MZMedia Inc.

The Scott Mission has been assisting Toronto’s disadvantaged for over 70 years. Donations help men, women and children by providing them with the basic necessities of life - food, clothing, shelter and children’s toys. The Mission, a Christian non-denominational organization based in downtown Toronto, offers many programs to support the poor and homeless in our community.

“We’re so thankful that our friends at Classical 96.3 FM and AM 740 are again supporting the work of The Scott Mission through the Holiday Hope Fund. We certainly couldn’t help the number of people we do without the support of the stations and their listeners,” says Avril Henry, Director of Public Relations for the Scott Mission.
