On Monday, September 17, 2024, The New Classical 96.3 FM, English Canada’s only commercial all-classical radio station, and The New AM 740 – Zoomer Radio, will officially relaunch their new websites with improved speed, content and design – including an emphasis on ease-of-use – to better engage their increasingly digital savvy audiences.
Zoomers are flocking to social media, mobile and media-rich websites but most online destinations are designed by, and for, a younger demographic despite the fact 45plus year old users are the fastest growing audience online.
The new sites, produced in-house by ZoomerMedia’s Interactive Division, are tailored for mature audiences, offering more intuitive and faster web pages, CD-quality audio streams, full concert videos, podcasts, and an updated, state-of-the-art iPhone/iPod app for listeners on the go.
To support the relaunch and the “listen anywhere” message, the stations are hosting an online contest from September 17 – October 14 whereby listeners can win a trip for four to Deerhurst Resort in breathtaking Muskoka by visiting the new websites.
