The New York Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI NY) held its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 21, at which it announced the newly elected Chapter Officers and Directors for the 2024-2017 term and recapped the highlights of a successful 2024-2016 season.
NIRI NY Board President, Theresa Molloy, commented, “Through the energy and commitment of our members, board of directors, volunteers, and partners, the 2024-2016 program season was one of NIRI NY’s most accomplished. Over 600 participants attended our chapter’s educational programs and workshops, social and networking events, senior leadership dinners, IRO roundtables, and a half-day leadership seminar. Through the support of our partners, we enhanced our online presence, functionality and resources. We launched the NIRI Headliners video series produced by Business Wire, redesigned the NIRI NY chapter website developed by Q4, and introduced the NIRI NY app hosted by theIRapp. And to meet the needs of up and coming IR professionals, we created NIRI NY NextGen, offering networking events and programs tailored to those who are newer to the IR community. Several of the chapter’s officers were recently honored at the NIRI Leadership Dinner and Awards Program held in San Diego during the NIRI National Conference. NIRI-NY officers Darin Arita, Corey Kinger, and Deb Wasser were among the 2024 NIRI Individual Leadership Award winners. Leadership nominees were selected by their chapter peers in recognition of their outstanding performance during the program year.
