Cine-Source Sales and Service Ltd. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Whites Digital Sales and Services Inc. Larry Lavoie, formerly GM of Whites Digital, is now President and GM of Cine-Source. 

Larry Lavoie is thrilled to be able to “continue a long standing tradition of knowledgeable customer service, technical know-how and innovative solutions as provided by the original founder, Don Hall when he started “Cinequip” over 45 years ago”.

Larry revealed that it was the chance to re-invent from the Cinequip footprint that inspired him to step up when the former Whites Digital property became available to purchase. Larry went on to say; “ It was the opportunity to build on a fine tradition of excellence; as relied on by technical professionals over the past 45 years that initially caught my interest.”

Cine-Source is a full service sales company serving the broadcast, video, film and theatrical production industry inCanada. Formerly known as Cinequip before it was purchased by William F. White International Ltd at the turn of the millennium; the company has excelled in industry sales and rentals since 1967, when it wasCanada’s first motion picture rental house. Over the years, Cinequip became a sales and service center for many prominent lines in the industry and Mr. Lavoie is confident that Cine-Source will continue this fine tradition.

Larry and his senior technical sales and service staff will announce an open house in the near future but invite clients both existing and prospective to drop in and meet the new team any time before or after NAB. He wanted to assure clients during the cross-over of ownership that; “Our experienced sales team will assist all of our clients new and old with any of their needs”.
