Vitex launches new fiber optic solution, Portable Broadcasting Transport System (PBTS) for mobile broadcast companies. Manufactured by Oticom, a leading provider of broadcast system solutions in Korea, PBTS was designed with input from field engineers.

PBTS is a compact, portable field unit that converts various signals from an outside broadcasting venue to digital data and transmits it over optical cable. PBTS is designed as a modular unit and can be configured with different video and audio cards according to customers’ requirements. In addition to 3G-SDI and HD SDI, PBTS supports Composite Video, Ethernet, Data, Analog and Digital Audio.
