RCMP Selects Panasonic Surveillance Technology for Vancouver Olympic and Paralympic Games

Panasonic Canada Inc. is pleased to announce today that the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have selected two models of Panasonic IP surveillance cameras for indoor and outdoor competition venues and other Olympic facilities for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Panasonic’s state-of-the-art technology is intended to be used in conjunction with other security technology to secure official Olympic sites and sporting venues. The high picture quality and high-sensitivity surveillance camera systems will be an integral part of the RCMP’s plan to offer all visitors and athletes a safe and enjoyable experience at the Games.
