MERRITT, B.C. - Radio NL in Merritt announced yesterday that British Columbia Hockey League action will once again be back on the air in Merritt and the Nicola Valley this season.

After a one year hiatus, the station will be broadcasting all 60 games for the junior "A" Merritt Centennials. Keegan Goodrich, a recent BCIT graduate, will be handling the play by play duties, while morning host Brian Wiebe will tackle colour commentary on a handful of games.

The Merritt Centennials are currently the BCHL's longest serving franchise, having been in Merritt for over 30 years.

CJNL AM serves the 8,000-plus people in the Merritt (about 250 kms northeast of Vancouver) and region.
