Project Engineer

This position is in our Communications Systems Network Group.
Responsibilities include working with the senior engineer on technical system
designs for analog, digital and high definition television systems (and keeping up-to-date
with the latest Sony broadcast products and television technical advances in the
industry). Provide on-site customer support to assist in the installation and
commissioning of television systems in cooperation with sales and marketing. We are
seeking a graduating electrical or computer science engineer interested in starting a
career in broadcast engineering, or an engineer with some recent broadcast sytem design
experience. Preference will be given to a candidate with some knowledge of digital
televisions, television broadcast systems design and installation as well as computer
networking, distribution and interfaces.
