Ottawa - Reports out of the nation's capital say that while a much-speculated review of the CRTC might be on hold, the all-party Heritage committee will soon invite broadcasters and cable operators, along with the commission, to public hearings that may lead to changes in the Broadcast Act.

Part of the public process will be the launching of a Web site where Canadians across the country can have their say on the Canadian TV industry.

The Heritage Ministry is expected to release more details after the Easter break of the House of Commons.
