  • ExpressVu makes Making the Cut more interactive

    TORONTO - Viewers of CBC's hockey reality show Making the Cut, can enjoy a weekly interactive experience if watching the show on Bell ExpressVu.

    Beginning tonight, ExpressVu customers, for 50 cents, can use their remote to answer up to four trivia questions each episode and view the results in real time.

    The results will be compiled from ExpressVu viewers, SMS messages from Bell Mobility customers, and visitors to the www.makingthecut.bell.ca web site and presented on-screen during each episode.

    Fans of the show who register on makingthecut.bell.ca are also eligible to win weekly prizes, as well as a grand prize including a $5,000 renovation from Home Depot, a Samsung 46-inch television and a Bell ExpressVu personal video recorder.

    More than 800,000 Bell ExpressVu customers with iTV-ready receivers can view on-demand information such as player profiles and coaches' notes.

    Making the Cut provides a behind-the-scenes look at the search for Canada's best-unsigned hockey players as they compete for one of six invitations to a Canadian NHL team training camp for 2024.
