DALET AT THE CORE OF NEW RUSSIAN TELEVISION CHANNEL

    Dalet Digital Media Systems, a leading provider of media management tools for more than a decade, today announced that Russia's newest television channel, Russia Today, has chosen Dalet's end-to-end news production solution, DaletPlus News Suite, to drive its newsroom production and playout operations. Owned and operated by the Russian government, the new station will offer its 24 hour Russian news programs in English to viewers around the world. The DaletPlus News Suite system will be at the core of the Russia Today operation providing ingest, editing, rundown/playout and archiving functionality.

The Russia Today staff will be able to source materials, write/edit stories, broadcast and archive using one user interface populated on the staff's desktop computers. The DaletPlus News Suite integrated environment will allow the Russia Today to effectively manage the entire news production process from ingest to archive.
