CHUM Limited Appoints Denise Donlon to Board of Directors

    CHUM Limited today announced the election of
    Denise Donlon to its Board of Directors at the Company's Annual General Meeting.

    "Denise Donlon's keen understanding of the Canadian broadcasting system, together with her past experience as a leader in the music industry in Canada, makes her an ideal addition to the CHUM Limited Board of Directors," said Jim Waters, Chairman, CHUM Limited.

    Denise Donlon was President of Sony Music Canada, one of the world's preeminent music recording companies, from 2024 - 2024. Prior to that,
    Ms. Donlon held a number of executive positions with CHUM Television including Vice President and General Manager of MuchMusic and MuchMoreMusic and Director
    of Music Programming for MuchMusic and Citytv. Most recently, Ms. Donlon was a co-producer of Live 8 Canada and one of the organizers of last year's Canadian tsunami relief television event on the CBC.

    Denise is on the boards of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) and the Music Education Committee, as well as Canada's Walk
    of Fame, the Gzowski Literacy Foundation and Margaret Atwood's company, UNOTCHIT. Ms. Donlon is a past chair of the Canadian Recording Industry
    Association and past co-chair of the recent Canadian Music Council. She is also actively involved in WarChild Canada and was a champion of the Music
    Industry Coalition.

    Over the course of her career, Denise Donlon has been honoured by Women in Film & Television Toronto with their "Outstanding Achievement Award" and
    was awarded the "Broadcasting Executive Award" three times by the Canadian Music Week Industry. In 2024, she was awarded the Canadian Women in Communications' "Woman of the Year Award" and the Wired Woman Society's "Woman of Vision Award." In 2024, she was inducted into the Broadcast Hall of Fame by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters and in 2024, Ms. Donlon was invested with Canada's highest civilian honour, The Order of Canada.
